Welcome. Allow me to briefly introduce myself: I was born in Greece and studied Economics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and then Philosophy at the University of Sorbonne. However, my passion for sketching and drawing turned out to be much too important to me and I decided to pursue it professionally.

At first I chose animation and studied in France with Stéphane Bernasconi and later with Patrick Cohen. I worked as an animator on the Ellipse Animation series, Babar, a Canal+ co-production with Nelvana in Toronto.

In the 90s, I returned with my partner and colleague Annie DiDonna to Greece, where we set up an animation studio, Spicy Toons, which trained and then employed approximately twenty young Greek and European animators. We worked mainly on French series and advertising projects. The studio ran its course in the late 90’s.

Later, in 2003, I went back to comics and worked on the graphic novels Logicomix, Democracy and Aristotle, in collaboration with a variety of brilliant writers and publishers. During this time I also did storyboards for several French series and commercials as well as a considerable number of illustrations for a multitude of magazines and books.

Today, in 2023, I have two comics projects in the works while also working to set up a training program for young people in Greece on Animation Storyboarding; a course designed to help young professionals promote their projects and spread their wings abroad.
